In short, a ceramic coating is a superficial layer that lays on top of your car’s clear coat & can be applied to all painted surfaces. You can even apply ceramic coating to the vehicle trimming, plastics, glass & even the wheels! The benefit to doing so is that it will look different on each surface it is used to, such as making the surface hydrophobic (excellent water repellency), which attributes to the self-cleaning properties of ceramic coatings. 

What does this even mean? You may be asking "well when your vehicle has ceramic coating protection, it will let water create these beads on the surface, which can encapsulate the dirt & debris from everyday driving & roll off the vehicle while you are driving.
